Orange wine from the South West of France! It packs a punch!

Are you in to suave gangsterism? This maceration white wine, aka white wine made like a red, aka orange wine, flames like Sam “Ace” Rothstein’s suits in Casino. This wine has a highly nuanced aromatic expression: orange peel, nutmeg, dried flowers… The palate is sharp, enhanced by a lively substance, which provides a mineral finish. Energetic and structured, this is a superb orange wine paying homage to how white wines were made in ancient times.

Winemaking process
Manual harvest, with grapes being sorted directly on the vine. 100% whole bunch, the grapes macerate for two weeks before being gently pressed. Made using indigenous yeasts (“wild yeasts”), O.G. Caaaaaaat has no inputs at any point in the entire process. The grape is sufficient to itself thanks to its quality and the great care taken by our pickers when handling it. O.G. Caaaaaaat comes into being with no clarification, no filtration, everything is done naturally throughout the 18-month maturation in vats, French oak barrels and terra cotta jars. Unfiltered. Without added sulphites (total SO2 < 10mg/L). Natural wine.

This is a “four-handed” wine. It was created by Christophe Kaczmarek and Michel Maestroujuan, winegrower from Domaine Entras, in Gascogne’s heart (South West of France).

The wines are made, blended, bottled and packaged on site. From the vine to the cellar, everything is done with the aim of respecting nature, regenerating the soils, promoting biodiversity and respecting the people who are part of it.
